Your Pre-shoot Guide

I know it can feel a little daunting stepping in front of the camera, so before your session we’ll have a relaxed call to talk through what matters most to you. It’s a chance to share what you’re hoping for from your photographs, the feeling you’d like them to capture and how you might enjoy them in your home.

From there, I’ll guide you through the practical details, from what to wear and how to prepare, to your chosen location and what’s included in your package, so everything feels simple and clear.

A few days before your shoot, I’ll be in touch again to confirm timings and do a quick weather check, so by the time the day arrives you can simply feel calm, confident and ready to enjoy it.

Your Photo Shoot

On the day of your session we will begin gently, giving your horse and family time to feel comfortable while I take a moment to get to know everyone and scout the best spots for your photographs.

We will also look over your outfit choices together, so you can feel confident everything works in harmony with your surroundings.

I like to come prepared, so I’ll have water, snacks, horse treats, wipes, hoof oil and all sorts of extras in my kit box so you do not need to think about a thing.

Your Private Viewing

We will arrange your private viewing as part of your shoot booking and it will take place around one to two weeks after your session. This is your chance to see your portraits beautifully presented together for the very first time.

I will guide you gently through selecting the image for your complimentary sixteen-inch framed artwork and introduce you to a collection of other pieces, from handcrafted albums to wall art. My aim is to make the process simple and enjoyable, so you leave with artwork that feels completely right for your home and the memories you want to treasure.
